The library at the St John Australian Office is home to a fascinating collection of books covering a wide range of topics, including:  the history of the Order (medieval and modern); the heritage of St John Ambulance in Australia and overseas; first aid and medical practices; cadets; and broader themes related to charity and service.

Some resources have been scanned and digitised, and these can be accessed below.

Members can visit on site to use the library. For those who need a copy of a particular section or page, we also offer photocopying and scanning services—just let us know what you need, and we’ll be happy to assist, depending on the material. The library is here to support your research, learning, and curiosity, so don’t hesitate to visit and make use of its resources.
